Samson & Delilah @ Cannes
Samson & Delilah был отобран для показа на кинофестивале в Каннах! Очень рад :)
Вот так выглядел со стороны кинотеатр под открытым небом в Alice Springs. Премьера фильма. Ровно через неделю я увижу этот фильм и режисёра снова на pre-screening в Мельбурне …
Пытался вчера попасть (вторая попытка!) на показ коротких фильмов Warwick Thornton-а в Cinema Nova … SOLD OUT! Всё равно рад :) Молодцы!

Samson & Delilah
Были на премьере. Под открытым небом, на большом экране, на фоне горы, в окружении местных жителей. На просмотр собрался весь Alice Springs, настолько сильно упакованной парковки я не видел пожалуй со времён поездок на фестивали. Отличный фильм, чем-то напоминает Candy, но снят в совершенно другом стиле и про аборигенов. Смотрите в кинотеатрах страны с 7-ого мая, в торрентах этот фильм врядле когда-нибудь окажется. Рекомендую.

Ocean Without a Shore is about the presence of the dead in our lives. The three stone altars in the church of San Gallo become portals for the passage of the dead to and from our world. Presented as a series of encounters at the intersection between life and death, the video sequence documents a succession of individuals slowly approaching out of darkness and moving into the light. Each person must then break through an invisible threshold of water and light in order to pass into the physical world. Once incarnate however, all beings realise that their presence is finite and so they must eventually turn away from material existence to return from where they came. The cycle repeats without end.
Рекомендую. NGV, ground floor. 90 минут. Очень сильно!
